2/20/1984     The Korea Heart Foundation is established under its original name, 
                   the Saesedae Foundation. 
                   Mrs. Lee Soon Ja is elected as the foundation's first president.

3/ 2/1984      The Foundation is formally recognized by the Ministry of Health 
                   and Social Affairs.

12/27/1988    The offices of the Foundation are moved to the Hanshin Officetel 
                    Building.

6/15/1989      The Saesedae Foundation changes its name to The Korea Heart 
                    Foundation

7/ 1/1991       Financial support programs for patients with acquired heart 
                    disease or leukemia are established.
                    The maximum age for applicants seeking general aid is set at 15.

1/ 1/1992       Financial support programs for patients with congenital 
                    craniofacial abnormality or renal failure are established.

1/ 1/1993       The maximum age for patients seeking aid for heart conditions is 
                    set at 70.
                    The new maximum age for patients seeking general aid is set
                    at 20.

1/ 1/1994       The maximum age for patients seeking general aid is set at 70.

2/27/2005       Mr. C. K. Bak is elected as the Foundation's eighth president
